We had a fabulous time finally getting back together in person! We met at The Pollinator Garden and were toured around by a few of the volunteers and given some background on the creation of the gardens. This is a work in progress, and the signage is wonderful as an educational tool for those that know what they like but have no idea what it is called!
From there we headed up to Hockley Meadows Farm for a private tour of their gardens... they are magnificent!!! Our group really enjoyed learning about scree gardens and the vast variety of Hostas that are available. Their view over the valley was spectacular!
Lunch was enjoyed at the Hockley Store, then we all enjoyed some social time at John's home. What a wonderful group of gardeners. We chatted and shared stories of our successes and our spectacular 'Oh No !' experiences as well. A great time was had by all!
